Expression...

Sorry for the late post.....
Couldn't be in touch with you guys....
I think I should make up for it through a poem. A poem expresses true feelings in a single flow and its the best medium to convey a message deeper...deeper and even more deeper...
This poem is about that part of life which people fear to be in...and is filled with uncertainity....
certainly there is a reason for this poem...The faces which I see in and around.....

The Old Man is A Child....

That forgotten man who lies beside,
No one to care by his side,
The soul starves for love,
In him dwells a child,
Yearning for a game,
Of cards or sticks,
To get out from this loneliness,
That makes him sick,
No teeth to chew,
No sight to see,
No able to hear,
Only a heart to Love...!

Praying for a soul mate,
Until his last date,
To be by his side,
To care for him.

He , like a child,
Searches for joy,
The loss of which left him wild,
In search of That old toy.

His eyes in continuous search,
Reminds of the small child,
Deep in thought about a lost doll,
Or deep within the savor for sweets.

What a pity is he,
With no one by his side,
With no words of love,
To bring back his smile.

All pass by,
Without even a 'stare',
Without a smile,
Without a soothing look...!

By the road he lies,
Longing for help,
Like a child of Two,
Searching for his mother...!

Remember young men,
All who sneered and snubbed,
That man too was young,
With all might and strength...!

He too was strong and wealthy,
Powerful and wise,
But now, lies down,
With Innocence of a child that,
Longs for his mother!
Remember young men,
Old age is no curse,
It is a season of life,
To which all are bound.
It's like a second childhood which,
Lies beneath each face!

To bring back his smile,
That smile on the face of a child,
That smile that mothers love,
That smile filled with joy,
Why not give him a hand ?
Like that to a child,
Learning his first steps..!

Lets not be afraid of old age , its our second childhood....
Hope you enjoyed your weekend and time to get back to work...Happy Monday...!
All comments and opinions invited warmly....

Signing off with a smile....
Reshmy Raphy.....
